Community Forum 3
Community Forum 3 was held on May 4th, 2011. The discussion focused on the old adage, when am I considered a local? Does it have to do with how long you have lived here, how many days you spend on a mountain bike or snowboard, if you own property? We also had a viewing of “The Story of Frisco” which covers Frisco’s history from back when the Ute Indians settled here, to the mining boom, to the White Gold Rush when the ski areas began development in the surrounding areas. Attendees also took place in the Frisco Place project aimed at identifying their favorite places located around Frisco.
