Peak One Parcel – 3rd Town Meeting

Purpose: This was the third meeting in a series to establish a master plan for the development of the Peak One Parcel as a socially and environmentally responsible mixed-income housing community.  In the first town meeting, members of the public participated in a collaborative process to consider alternatives for development of the Peak One Parcel.  Based upon feedback generated during the first town meeting, alternative conceptual site plans (“concepts”) were created.  In the second meeting, these concepts were presented, and the community provided constructive feedback on and evaluation of the options.

Taking the feedback and input received during the first two town meetings, a diagram of the Peak One Parcel segmented into sub-areas has been formulated.  For each sub-area densities, unit types and general design criteria are identified.  Additionally, based on the sub-areas diagram, an example site design for the development of the Peak One Parcel as a mixed-income housing community has been created.

Town Meeting Three provided members of the community with the opportunity to review and comment on the Peak One Parcel sub-areas diagram and conceptual site design, to provide constructive feedback on multiple aspects for development of the Peak One Parcel, and to learn about Frisco’s affordable housing needs and other housing initiatives.

Overview: The meeting was an open house format which community members stopped by on their own time between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to visit information and comment stations.  A station was dedicated to each of the following topics, and community members were asked to provide written feedback (a summary of comments will be added to the website soon):
