Part Time Snow Cat Operator
OVERALL JOB OBJECTIVES:
Groom and maintain the tubing hill lanes, beginner ski and ride hill and terrain park at the Frisco Adventure Park.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Groom tubing hill lanes
- Maintain mountain skiing surfaces to the finest level possible
- Maintain grooming lanes, beginner ski and ride hill slope and Terrain Park.
- Operate snow cat
- Provide basic preventative maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of the machine.
- This position has a high safety responsibility to ensure a safe snowcat operation.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of machine. Manual labor in other slopes and trails may be requireD
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and an acceptable record
- Able to work outdoors in cold, alpine conditions
- Able to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Previous snow cat experience or heavy equipment experience is preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively with others
- A flexible schedule for night shifts, weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of trail Grooming Methods is recommended.
- Able to learn how to operate all slope grooming equipment.
- Able to climb on and off the vehicles frequently.
- Must complete a Vehicle Record review
- Ski area experience – Preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an outdoor, alpine condition. Physical demands involve lifting and carrying (up to 60 lbs.), bending, walking and climbing stairs. Work schedule may vary to include extended days, evenings, nights and weekends. Work independently.
