Frisco Looks to Citizens for Input on the 2014 Draft Budget with EngageFrisco.com
On September 20, 2013 the Town of Frisco will be looking to citizens for their feedback on the proposed 2014 Budget through EngageFrisco.com. EngageFrisco.com that allows citizens to interact, brainstorm and comment on town matters. The Town of Frisco is working to improve public knowledge and involvement.
EngageFrisco will provide information on the specific policy questions that are presented to council for the 2014 budget and will offer the ability for citizens to convey their thoughts electronically. Citizens will be able to support or not support policy questions and have the option questions or comments on specific policy questions as well as vote for, or against, a policy question.
The objective of Engage Frisco is to allow for more public participation throughout the government processes, starting with the budget and to create a greater level of transparency. The window for feedback is from September 20th through September 27th.
Citizens are also encouraged to come to the Council Budget worksession where they will be able to ask questions and provide feedback to the Council on policy questions. The worksession will not be a place for general budget discussions, but is intended to allow for citizens to comment specifically on the policy questions.
