Looking for Fun and Adventurous Kid Activities for February School Vacation? Enroll now into Frisco’s Winter Vacation Sensation!

There is still time to sign your kids up for the Winter Vacation Sensation during Summit County School District’s winter break.  Winter Vacation Sensation is an exciting and adventurous way for your kids to spend the no-school days!  “We realize many Summit County parents are working and we’re excited to offer an outlet for their kids.  Our program offers an enthusiastic staff to keep kids entertained with field trips, art projects, games and we’ll also have plenty of outside time to play in the snow,” stated Linsey Kach, Recreation Programs Manager.

Spots are still open for the following dates: February 25-March 1, 2013; April 15-19, 2013. Children ages 5 -12 may participate in the camp for $40 per day for Frisco residents and $45 per day for non-Frisco residents. The camp runs from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with drop off from 8-8:45 a.m. and pick up from 4:30–5 p.m. at the Community Center on 3rd Avenue in downtown Frisco.  There will not be an early drop-off or late pick-up option for any child in this program.

Registration is available online at or in person at the Frisco Day Lodge.  The program is a state licensed program for children ages 5 -12.  Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
