The Frisco Adventure Park tubing hill and beginner ski/ride hill have added an additional weekend of tubing and skiing due to exceptional snow conditions. The tubing hill and beginner ski/ride hill had originally planned their last day of operations for Sunday, April 7, 2019, but now they will be open the next weekend as well, on Friday, April 12, Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14, from 10:00am-3:00pm each day, with the last tubing session beginning at 2:00pm.
Due to the extended season, the tubing hill will now be able to host Wounded Heroes Family Adventures during their Summit County Family Ski Week in April. The mission of this organization is to offer recreational therapy opportunities to soldiers severely wounded in combat operations and to provide Wounded Heroes and their families with outdoor experiences.
Tubing at the Frisco Adventure Park tubing hill is $26 per hour and each additional hour of tubing is $10. Riders must be at least 36 inches tall to tube and be comfortable riding in their own tube. Reservations are required and may be made at FriscoTubing.com.
Beginner Ski/Ride Hill
Skiing and boarding at the Frisco Adventure Park beginner ski/ride hill is $30 for a full day pass and children four and under ski for free. Any parent joining a child on the hill will need to purchase a lift ticket and be on ski/snowboard equipment. Limited quantities of passes are sold each day and do sell out so it is suggested that guests call 970-668-2558 to reserve ski/ride passes.
Frisco Nordic Center
The Frisco Adventure Park also features the Frisco Nordic Center with trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Frisco Nordic Center plans to stay open through Sunday, April 7, 2019, and currently 100% of the Center’s terrain is open. Daily trail passes for individuals (13-64) are $25; seniors (65+) are $20; and children (12 and under) are free.
Two Below Zero sleigh rides, also located at the Adventure Park, has likewise extended their season and will offer rides through April 13, weather permitting. Sleigh rides run Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and reservations are required. Two Below Zero offers hot cocoa, dinner and private sleigh rides, which are led by their majestic draft mules.
