The Town of Frisco is currently accepting Christmas trees at the Frisco Bay Marina through 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
- Trees may be dropped off at the Frisco Bay Marina dirt lot (B1) at the corner of Summit Boulevard/Highway 9 and Marina Road.
- Trees must be stripped of all lights, tinsel, garland, tree stands and decorations prior to drop-off.
- This year the trees will be chipped and re-purposed. As always, only real trees are accepted. Please appropriately discard other materials such as building supplies, packaging, or pallets.
- The tree drop-off is open 24 hours a day, and is available to everyone.
Spontaneous Combustion Canceled
For the health and safety of our community, the annual Spontaneous Combustion Bonfire will not take place in 2021. This popular event is a community celebration, featuring a bonfire, food and music, and is an important fundraiser for the Summit Nordic Ski Club, one of Colorado’s top ski clubs offering programs for young athletes to develop fitness, confidence and skills in a team-based environment. We are still encouraging people to make a donation to the Summit Nordic Ski Club. We hope to celebrate Spontaneous Combustion again in 2022.
