Officer Involved Shooting in Frisco

On January 14, 2019 at approximately 7:30 pm, Frisco police responded to a call from Summit County Dispatch indicating that there was a party acting “erratically” in Whole Foods Market. Frisco Police made contact with the subject in the Whole Foods parking lot. Subsequently, a Town of Frisco police officer was involved in an officer involved shooting. No officers were injured.

Town of Frisco Police Chief Tom Wickman stated, “With the suspect in police custody, there is no current threat to the community regarding this incident.”

This case is currently under active investigation by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
