Our awe-inspiring surroundings, fresh mountain air, and the many opportunities to interact with nature are the primary reasons people from all over visit Frisco and Summit County, enjoy our many amenities, and patronize our local businesses. Conserving these resources is a priority for the Town of Frisco, so much that sustainability is one of the pillars of Town Council’s strategic plan.
The Town has adopted several initiatives and resolutions to do our part, including:
- Reducing single-use plastic use
- Installing electric vehicle charging stations
- Committing to 100% renewable energy use by the year 2035.
The Town has also partnered with High Country Conservation Center (HC3) and Resource Central to provide several opportunities for Frisco businesses to do their part.
Please see our informational brochure below for an overview of our programs and visit sustainablefrisco.com for more information on how to get involved.
