Opportunity beckons for any business operator who wants interstate access, steady tourist influx, well-educated and motivated workers, a first-class infrastructure, and a growing residential base. Frisco is home to over 35 restaurants including four coffee shops and two breweries. In addition, Frisco offers a co-working space, EVO3, and great media access, including the mountain bureau for Denver’s CBS television affiliate, and the county’s only daily newspaper, Summit Daily. Living Where You Work
Mountain communities, like Frisco, are great places to visit, and their popularity as vacation destinations commonly results in a shortage of affordable workforce housing because of the prevalence of vacation homes, vacation rentals, and the lack of inventory inherent in a community with limited buildable land. Couple this with a tourism based economy, which primarily produces lower paying service jobs, and you have a challenge housing the local workforce. Frisco Town Council has identified affordable workforce housing as one of their top three priorities, and has a comprehensive housing plan, which incorporates multiple strategies to insure employees are able to live where they work.

Town Government
The town government has taken advantage of the outstanding tourist economy to invest in numerous improvements, including adding and improving the trails system, making improvements to the Frisco Bay Marina, and supporting recreational opportunities at the Frisco Adventure Park, including a tubing hill, beginner ski and snowboard hill, terrain park, Nordic center, skate park, expanded and improved trails, and a disc golf course. And Summit Fire and EMS supports the Town with a staff of professional firefighters and paramedics.
Amenities and Services
Parks, schools, playgrounds, a library, the Frisco Historic Park & Museum, the Frisco Adventure Park, the Frisco Bay Marina, the Frisco Nordic Center, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, and shopping are all within easy access, often by foot. Events like Frisco’s Fabulous Fourth of July, Frisco Gold Rush Nordic Races, Concerts in the Park, Fall Fest, and Wassail Days combine beautiful mountain scenery and small-town atmosphere to create authentic events, which speak to the uniqueness of mountain life. With plenty of outdoor restaurant patios, walking paths, parks, and poo bag receptacles through out town, Frisco is obviously a town that loves dogs.
Prime Location
Frisco is just one hour west of Denver and 95 minutes from Denver International Airport. Located in the middle of six world-class ski areas, on a 55-mile recreational path system, and along the shores of beautiful Dillon Reservoir, Frisco is at the epicenter of recreation and commerce in Summit County. It’s no wonder that Frisco is home to the Summit County School District main offices, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, one of Summit Stage bus system’s main transit centers, Summit County Library’s main branch, Colorado State Patrol offices, and Summit County Community and Senior Center.
