Community Development Building Inspector/Plans Examiner I & II

Performs a variety of building inspections to evaluate the construction or alteration of both residential and commercial, buildings and structures for conformance with applicable construction codes and ordinances. Performs technical duties in the examination and approval of plans submitted for construction permits requiring understanding and applicability of adopted building codes. Assists Community Development customers by answering questions, assisting in code applicability, and informing of permitting processes.
Community Development Short-term Rental/Housing Program Specialist
$26.35 – $31.62 Hourly
This high visibility, high impact position is responsible for the administration of the Town’s Short-Term Rental (STR) Program, including: licensing, regulation, tax collection, compliance, and enforcement specific to short-term vacation rentals in Frisco, CO. In addition to the STR program, this position will also assist with the Town employee housing rental units.
Police Community Service Officer

The Community Services Officer performs a variety of field and administrative duties in support of the non-law enforcement public services and safety functions. The Community Services Officer is responsible for enforcement of Animal Control, Municipal Codes related to parking, zoning code violations, business license enforcement, trash, abandoned vehicles, pine beetle mitigation, noxious weed control, sign code violations, VIN Inspections, finger prints, lost & found reports, property line disputes, traffic control, noise complaints, and other town operations.

Enforces state statutes and municipal ordinances to protect and serve the Town. Patrols the Town to maintain order, prevent crimes, and protect life and property. Responds to calls for service, conducts preliminary and follow up investigations through interviews and gathering and securing of evidence.

POST certification required. Performs a wide variety of complex police work involved in the operation and supervision of the Town Police Department and assigned officer personnel, along with some administrative duties. Supervises the operations of the Department’s officer personnel according to the methods and principles of modern police science and police administration as established by the Chief of Police. Must be able to handle all officer assigned functions.

The maintenance operator performs a variety of duties in support of daily operations of the Public Works Department. Operates a variety of equipment in the construction, repair, maintenance and replacement of Town owned streets, storm drainage, parks, buildings, grounds and cemetery systems.
Recreation Guest Service Lead

The Recreation Guest Service Lead splits the year between the Adventure Park (Nordic or Day Lodge) and the Frisco Bay Marina based on season. Responsibilities include opening and closing of daily operations, guest services such as providing information and making reservations, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Recreation Maintenance Lead- Adventure Park
$23.53 – $28.24 Hourly
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Frisco Adventure Park and includes helping supervise operations personnel, snowmaking, grooming, lift operation and overall safety of the operation. During the summer, this position is responsible for the daily operations of the bike park and skateboard park, and the summer maintenance of the tubing hill, equipment and machinery.
Recreation Vehicle Technician

The Recreation Fleet Technician works in the maintenance shops at the Frisco Bay Marina and the Frisco Adventure Park depending on the time of year and needs of both operations. This individual is directly responsible for equipment repairs and preventative maintenance at the Frisco Adventure Park’s Tubing Hill Operation and Nordic Center, as well as diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on both rental and customer boats at the Frisco Bay Marina.
