Culture
At the Town of Frisco, we are a laid back group of folks who consider ourselves lucky to live in this beautiful place where outdoor adventure, cultural amenities, and a supportive community (and dogs) are a part of everyday life. This is where many people choose to vacation, and we have the privilege of calling it home.
As an employer, we strive to recognize the achievements of our employees, listen to their concerns, and treat them with respect. Frisco’s Human Resources Division strives to serve the Town’s staff and meet their diverse expectations.
While we do offer limited employee housing, there are several resources in Frisco and Summit County to help employees and community members with their long-term housing needs.
Summit Combined Housing Authority (SCHA). While SCHA does not directly connect renters to housing, the SCHA provides education, loan assistance, rental resources, and enables the sale of workforce housing. SCHA’s homebuyer class is a great place to start. Contact: 970-423-7040.
Summit County Lease to Locals Program: Summit County and the Town of Breckenridge are partnering on a pilot incentive program to unlock new rental housing opportunities for the local workforce. The program provides property managers and property owners generous cash incentives to convert their short-term rentals into seasonal and long-term rentals.
