About the Frisco Adventure Park

Nestled among mountains that feel close enough to touch, and featuring a variety of quintessential Colorado outdoor fun just one mile from Main Street, there are many ways to choose your own adventure at the Frisco Adventure Park.

The Adventure Park is located within the Peninsula Recreation Area, which has miles of summer hiking and biking trails and winter Nordic trails along the shores of Frisco Bay and Dillon Reservoir. The trails wind in and out of the White River National Forest, where you can also grab a picnic spot or reserve a campsite.

Facilities at the Frisco Adventure Park include the Day Lodge, Slopeside Hall, Nordic Center Lodge, and Wedding Ceremony Overlook Site.

Some of the Frisco Adventure Park facilities are available for rent during certain times of the year for special events including weddings, birthdays, and graduation parties. Learn more about facilities at the Frisco Adventure Park.

Summer

The Frisco Adventure park features a free bike park, free skate park, free disc golf course, chuck wagon rides, and miles of trails for hiking and biking in the summer.

Winter

The Frisco Adventure Park offers tubing, a beginner ski and snowboard hill, terrain park, Nordic Center, and horse drawn sleigh rides in the winter.

Peninsula Recreation Area (PRA) – Comprehensive Vision & Project Implementation Plan

On October 27, 2020, the Frisco Town Council adopted the Comprehensive Vision and Project Implementation Plan. This plan will identifies current uses and capacities for the different user groups and serves as a guiding document for future development and improvements. This comprehensive plan details and maps current and future land use allocations for operations, trails, pathways, parking, storage, recreation, and services. It includes a specific and prioritized implementation framework for the Town to use over time. Overall, the plan creates a long-term vision and plan that will position the Town to manage these resources and funds in such a way that the Peninsula Recreation Area (PRA) and surrounding areas can grow and be managed to the highest level of economic, social, and environmental sustainability for future generations to come.
