At the Town of Frisco, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to provide an accessible website experience for all visitors, regardless of ability or technology.

Town of Frisco Accessibility Statement

The Town of Frisco is dedicated to ensuring that its services and resources are available to all people. In that spirit, the Town of Frisco has worked for many years to meet accessibility standards to make resources more accessible to all, including implementing the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. Since 2023, the Town has also been working to understand and meet the requirements of the Colorado HB21-1110, which mandates that state and local government websites must meet specific accessibility standards.

Compliance with HB21-1110

Since August 2023, the Town of Frisco has been developing a new municipal website which is designed and developed with accessibility as a primary goal and which should be launched in mid-summer of 2025. The Town has also been regularly reviewing and assessing its current website to ensure that it meets the necessary accessibility standards outlined in HB21-1110. Our commitment to accessibility includes but is not limited to:

  • Main navigation is text.
  • Content is organized hierarchically.
  • Font sizes are relative and can be adjusted by users.
  • Providing alternative text for images to ensure they are accessible to screen readers.
  • Ensuring proper color contrast for text and background elements.
  • Working on providing captions for multimedia content to ensure accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments.
