Christmas Tree Drop-Off Opens at the Marina Lot

Pile of Christmas trees covered in snow.

Now through Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 4:00 pm, the Town of Frisco is accepting Christmas trees to fuel the Spontaneous Combustion bonfire, which will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The drop-off location is at the Frisco Bay Marina dirt lot at the corner of Summit Boulevard/Highway 9 and Marina Road and will be open 24 hours a day.

  • Only real trees will be accepted: no other materials, including building supplies and packaging, will be accepted.
  • Trees must be stripped of all lights, tinsel, garland, tree stands, wires, metal supports, and decorations prior to drop-off.

Dropped off trees will be used for Spontaneous Combustion, Frisco’s annual community celebration on February 7, 2026, which features a bonfire, DJ, and fireworks. Proceeds from drink sales will benefit local nonprofit, Mile High Behavioral Healthcare. The bonfire will begin at 6:00 pm with fireworks at 8:00 pm.
