Frisco Town Council Candidate Packets Available for Pickup Starting January 6

Frisco Town Council candidate packets will be available for pick up starting on Tuesday, January 6 at 8:00am at Frisco Town Hall. Packets include a candidate petition for the collection of 25 valid signatures from active registered voters who reside within Frisco town limits.  The petition is due by Monday, January 26, 2026 at 5:00pm.

Election Information

 The regular 2026 Municipal Election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Voters located within Frisco town limits will elect four Town Council members during this election. Residents who have resided within Frisco town limits for one year and are 18 years of age or older are eligible to run for Town Council in Frisco. This excludes unincorporated areas in Frisco such as, but not limited to Bill’s Ranch, Evergreen, Frisco Heights, Frisco Terrace, Giberson Tract, Ophir Mountain, Wiborg Park, Farmer’s Korner, and Copper Mountain.

Candidate Packet Pick Up

Date: Beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 8:00 am

Location and Town Hall Hours:  

  • Packets may be picked up atFrisco Town Hall located at 1 Main Street, Frisco, CO 80443
  • Town Hall is open Mondays – Thursdays from 8:00am-5:00pm and Fridays from 8:00 am-12:00 pm
  • Please note that Town Hall will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day

Candidate packets, which include petitions, will be available for in-person pickup only during business hours, Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Frisco Town Hall. Candidate packets include a candidate calendar with deadlines, the petition with spaces for signatures, and campaign finance materials. Petitions and packets may not be digitalized, photocopied, or reproduced in any way, and candidates must use the packet provided by the Town Clerk.

Each candidate must gather 25 valid signatures from active registered voters who reside within Frisco town limits, and it is suggested that candidates gather more than 25 signatures to ensure that they will have enough valid signatures. Registered Frisco electors may only sign up to four candidate petitions, and signing more than four petitions will invalidate a candidate petition. Municipal elections are non-partisan, meaning political parties will not be noted on any materials, including election ballots. Candidates will have over two weeks to circulate their petitions and must return completed petitions by Monday, January 26, 2026 at 5:00pm.

Ballots Mailed

Date: Monday, March 16, 2026

Ballots will be mailed from the general mail facility in Denver on Monday, March 16, 2026. Frisco residents located within Town limits should receive their mailed ballot later that same week. Colorado voter registration may be updated at GoVoteColorado.com. Frisco Town Council Candidate Forum

Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
Time: 5:00pm-7:00pm
Location: Frisco location to be determined

The Frisco Town Council candidate forum will be professionally moderated, with formal questions, followed by the opportunity for the public to chat with candidates in an informal setting.

Voting Deadline

Date: Tuesday, April 7, 2026
Time: 7:00pm

There is no in-person voting for the Frisco municipal election. Registered voters will have until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, to drop their ballots off in-person at the 24-hour secure drop box, located in the atrium of Frisco Town Hall. Voters may also mail in their ballots via the United States Postal Service or Fed Ex/UPS. Ballots, whether mailed and dropped off, must be in the physical possession of the Frisco Town Clerk by 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to be counted.
