Updated at 8:49pm on May 26, 2026- Water service has been restored, but more work may be needed on May 27, which may result in another service disruption.
The water valve installed on the service line in support of the 101 West Main housing project on Friday, May 22, 2026 has failed, necessitating a water main shut down. This has caused an interruption in water service to residences at Ten Mile Island, Cross Creek, Creekside and Rivercrest Townhomes at approximately 1:00pm on Monday, May 26, 2026. Crews are onsite working diligently to pump water out to expose the valve and make repairs immediately. There is currently no estimated time for repair completion and restoration of water service.
