The Town of Frisco is continuing the concrete replacement project, which will result in a temporary, partial closure on Main Street on Monday, August 17, from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the partial road closures on Main Street on Thursday, August 13. We recognize the importance of providing timely notice about traffic disruptions and will do better to communicate upcoming closures.
We appreciate the patience of residents, businesses and visitors as this necessary work is completed. Crews will work as quickly as possible to minimize impacts and keep the project moving forward within budget and during the available construction season.
Monday, August 17, 7:00am–3:00pm: Main Street Closure
- Main Street will be closed to eastbound traffic.
- Motorists should plan ahead, follow posted detours and signage, and respect traffic control flaggers.
- Please avoid the impacted area whenever possible.
The Frisco Public Works Department and third-party contractor Metro Pavers, Inc. (MPI) are working to complete this maintenance as efficiently as possible during Frisco’s relatively short construction season.
Upcoming Work in August
Galena Street Alley & 7th Avenue Closures: Expect 1–2 day closures at the Galena Street alley (between 4th and 5th Avenues) and at 7th Avenue & Granite Street. Specific dates, detour routes, and advance signage will be provided several days prior.
General Hours: Town-wide concrete work continues Mondays through Thursdays, 7:00am to 7:00pm, through the end of August but work on Frisco Main Street is anticipated to be complete on Monday, August 17. Work on other areas throughout town will continue through the end of August.
Project Information
The project includes replacement of damaged sidewalks, curb and gutter, curb ramps, valley pans, and other concrete infrastructure on Town streets, parking areas, and properties.
