Main Street Closure for Parklet Installation: June 9, 6 am-12 pm

The Town of Frisco is excited to announce the return of parklets to Frisco businesses in the Main Street area from June 9 through October 20, 2026. This year over 30 parklets will be deployed along Main Street and several adjacent avenues. For the last six years, Frisco has cultivated a more vibrant, community-focused Main Street through the parklet program, made possible by the Colorado Department of Transportation’s “Revitalizing Main Streets” grant. By adding functional parklets in the summer months, the Town has effectively expanded commercial footprints and increased foot traffic, providing local businesses with the infrastructure to help them thrive.

Main Street Closure on Tuesday, June 9, 2026

The Frisco Public Works Department will be closing Main Street from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm to install parklets in front of local businesses. A detour will be in place to divert traffic from Main Street onto Granite and Galena Streets.
