Update at 12:04pm on October 14, 2026
Valve replacement work and water shut-off have been delayed, so there will be no water shut-off on October 14. This post will be updated with new shut-off information when it is available.
Notification from October 13, 2026
This is an update to an earlier blog post, as work today enabled the Water Division to reduce the water shut off area and its impact on water users. On Wednesday, October 14 from approximately 9:30am to 4:00pm, a water main servicing areas of Lagoon Drive, Ten Mile Drive, Meadow Creek Drive, and School Road will need to be shut off. This will result in no water service for customers in those areas, and area water customers are being alerted with door hangers and HOA notifications.
Water Valve Replacement to Prep for Water Main Replacement
The shut-off will last for approximately four to six hours so aging valves on the water main near Lagoon Drive can be replaced. This is the first step required to replace a stretch of water main in the Lagoon Drive area. The water main replacement will take approximately three weeks, but the water service impacts of actually replacing the main will be greatly reduced by replacing these valves, and water service disruption during the water main replacement will be confined to the area near the Lagoon Drive area.
Affected Areas- Updated and Reduced from Original Scope
On Wednesday, October 14 during the valve replacement, water service be unavailable at the following locations during the valve replacements:
- 918-924 Meadow Creek Drive (Pine Point Townhomes)
- 103 and 107 School Road (School District maintenance and transportation buildings)
- 719 Ten Mile Drive (Building with Crossfit Low Oxygen and Epic Print Pros)
- 704-766 Lagoon Drive (Lagoon Townhomes)
