On June 27, 2023, Frisco Town Council approved Resolution 23-22 which established the Frisco Community Housing Development Authority (FCHDA). Pursuant to the authority granted by C.R.S. 29-4-205(2), all members of the Town Council of the Town of Frisco were appointed the Commissioners of the Authority. The Mayor acts as the Commission Chair.

There are significant benefits for a potential affordable housing developer to partner with the FCHDA as a partner in a housing project, including certain property tax and sales tax exemptions for the project which can be a critical component for investors. The Town anticipates pursuing additional housing projects in the future, where the Frisco Community Housing Development Authority (FCHDA) could be a valuable tool in supporting the creation of workforce and affordable housing.

The FCHDA meets on an as-needed basis only. Anyone may attend in person or virtually via Zoom, and a livestream is also available on Frisco’s government YouTube Channel.
Contact the Frisco Town Clerk if additional assistance or information is needed regarding Housing Authority meeting access.

Housing Authority meetings typically take place on the same evening as Town Council meetings and occur on an as-needed basis.
