The Living Legacy Program
The Living Legacy Program provides an opportunity to honor, remember and pay tribute to loved ones or life events by planting a tree in Town parks as a living memorial while benefiting the entire community.
The Town of Frisco also has a Legacy Bench donation program. Tree and bench donations cannot be combined.
Details of the Program
- Contributions for one to three trees are welcomed and appreciated.
- The species of tree will be determined based on viability of the desired site.
- It is a departmental policy that markers or plaques are not allowed to be placed by the tree by the contributor.
- Trees can be planted in almost any Town park or property.
- Requests are accepted year round; however trees are only planted once per year during summer months to increase chances of survival.
- Available tree species include Bristlecone Pine, Colorado & Engelmann Spruce, Aspen, and Shubert’s Chokecherry.
