Business Licenses

Per Town code, the Town of Frisco requires any person operating and maintaining any business within the town, including the delivery of goods within the town, which are purchased or contracted for outside the corporate limits of the Town, to obtain an annual business license. New Business License Application
The annual fee for a business license has increased for the calendar year 2024 from $75 to $100. All businesses are licensed on a January through December schedule, and therefore, businesses obtaining a license in the middle of the year will have their fee pro-rated. Filling out and submitting this form provides the Town of Frisco with necessary information regarding business activity in the Town. Application fees are non-refundable. What are the business license requirements?
- Those businesses which need a Town of Frisco business license: Any person operating and maintaining any business in the Town of Frisco, including the delivery of goods within the Town which are purchased or contracted from outside of the corporate limits of the town and are delivered by other means than a common carrier, must pay for an annual Town of Frisco business license.
- Those businesses which are exempt from paying for Town of Frisco business license: remote sellers with no physical presence in Town or retailers with economic nexus that utilizes only the following methods of delivery: FEDEX, UPS, DHL, USPS, or electronic delivery, are exempt from paying for an annual Town of Frisco business license, but must complete a new business license application.
Business License Renewal
Business licenses must be renewed annually. All business licenses reflect a January 1 through December 31 schedule.
Any changes to the information provided by the applicant on the initial application shall be updated during the annual renewal in order to provide current and accurate information for the Town’s records. Your renewal letter contains information provided to the Town during the initial application or last renewal. If applicable, follow the button below to update your business contact information.
You can pay your $100 business license renewal online at XpressBillPay.com. The Town of Frisco is encouraging businesses to go paperless with their business license renewals. There’s no additional fee for this service.

Temporary Business License Application
Non-permanent businesses planning to do business within town limits can obtain a temporary business license. The fee is $25 per day.
