Building Division

As part of Frisco’s Community Development Department, the  Building Division administers the building permit process and reviews projects according to adopted building construction codes of the Town of Frisco.  The Building Division works closely with the Planning Division.  All projects must be granted Planning and Building Division’s approval.

How can I request an inspection?
Call 970.668.5276 & Press 1
Inspection requests need to be called in by 4:30 pm
THE DAY BEFORE THE INSPECTION IS NEEDED.
Please provide the permit number, address of the project,
and contact information when requesting an inspection.

Who does electrical inspections?
All electrical inspections are performed by the Summit County Inspection Division.  The telephone number for requesting electrical inspections is (970) 668-3170.

Do I need a business liscence to do work in Frisco?
Yes.  All contractors doing work in Frisco
require a Business License.
