Town Charter

The Town Charter is the governing document for the Town of Frisco. Adopted in August 1988 when the Town of Frisco became a Home Rule Municipality, the Home Rule Charter provides a structure for the effective and efficient conduct of the Town government, and also provides for the fullest possible participation in the affairs of the Town by every member of the community.

The Town of Frisco’s Home Rule Charter Commission believes that this Charter provides a structure for a responsible government for the Town of Frisco, now and in the future, that will maintain and enhance the quality of life of the citizens, continue the growth and progress of the Town, and continue to be responsive to the needs and concerns of the citizens.
