The Town of Frisco will be closing Main Street from Madison to 5th Avenue at 6:00am on Thursday, June 16 through as late as 12:00am Sunday for the Frisco BBQ Challenge. The Town will also close South 4th Avenue from Granite Alley to Main Street, 3rd Avenue from Granite to Galena streets, and South 2nd Avenue from Granite Alley to Main Street, for event operations.
After cancelling the event for 2020 and 2021 to support public health orders and practices in response to the pandemic, the BBQ returns in back-to-basics format that focuses on amazing food, great live music, and community. In addition to great food and beverage vendors and music, visitors to the event can still expect crowd favorites, including the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) competition, pig races, and the Bacon Burner 6K.
Please remember, the Frisco BBQ is a no-pet event in order to provide the best experience to attendees, as well as pets.
