  • Approval of October 20, 2023 meeting minutes
  • FACC member updates
  • Staff update
    – Update on addition of art to environmental assessment for the Frisco Backyard plan- to be brought to Council during a joint work session with the FACC in the next three months
    – Update on workflow/project tracking
  • 2024 Mural projects
    -FACC to determine 2024 mural locations- to choose 2-3 project locations
    – Adventure Park pedestrian tunnel- outside and inside
    – Fencing on the skate park
    – Main Street parking spots- how many in this location
    – Frisco owned rec paths- how many on the path and understanding that we will need to close portions of the path to complete
    – Other locations?
    – FACC to determine budget for each location
    – Timing on letter of interest/RFP and installation for each mural location
  • Frozen Frisco in coordination with Eat, Ski, Be Merry on Saturday, February 3, 2024
    – Set project goals
    – Determine if there should be a theme or not
    – Determine if local artists should be commissioned to create ice art pieces, how many pieces should be commissioned, and what the budget should be for each commission
    – Determine if there should be community ice art stipends, how many should be provided, and what the amount should be.
    – Determine if an ice or snow living room should be built and what the budget should be
  • Community Meal Discussion
    – Define the goals of a community meal/dinner
    – Identify important components to meet those goals
    – Determine a date
    – Determine a location
    – Should there be a theme, and if so, what should the theme be?
    – How to involve local restaurants?
    – Should there be a fee to reserve a table?
    – What should be supplied? Table, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, etc..
    – Should there be music, and if so, what genre?
    – Should there be any other art-oriented activities in the weeks leading up to or during the event?
    – Based on this discussion, is this an event the FACC would like to move forward with?
