From 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, the Town of Frisco is seeking public feedback during the second community open house regarding the potential for a public-private housing partnership. The open house will be at the First and Main Building at 108 Main Street in Frisco, and community members are invited to drop in anytime during the two hour open house to participate.

During this second open house, the Town of Frisco is seeking feedback regarding conceptual designs for housing on parcels between 1st and 3rd Avenues on Granite Street. These designs are being proposed by the private property owner at 207 Granite Street, who has indicated an interest in partnering with the Town to develop the privately owned lot and two Town owned lots, one next to 207 Granite Street and one parcel at 113 Granite Street, as one project. Discussion topics will be focused on the buildings’ character, site impact, community needs and goals, and sustainability.

In 2017, this vacant land on Granite Street and the parcel at 113 Granite Street were identified by the Town’s Housing Task Force and Frisco Town Council as high priority sites for potential housing. This open house will be an opportunity for community members to participate in this project very early on and weigh in on how this potential project could meet community goals.
