The Town of Frisco is hosting an in-person Town Council candidate forum on Thursday, March 10 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at 10 Mile Music Hall, located at 710 Main Street in Frisco. While Frisco’s candidates’ forums have traditionally been held at Frisco Town Hall, 10 Mile Music Hall provides additional space to more safely and comfortably host attendees and a field of seven candidates. Please note that 10 Mile Music Hall does not require masking or proof of vaccination or testing at this time.

The Town of Frisco invites community members to meet the seven candidates who are running for three open Town Council seats and learn more about their vision for Frisco. The forum will be moderated by Roman Moore, a Colorado native and formerly of Krystal 93, the LIFT-FM, and KSMT radio stations in Summit County. The forum will include opening statements by each candidate, as well as a question and answer period.

Citizens who would like to submit questions may do so in person by 6:00 pm at the forum at 10 Mile Music Hall or via email at DeborahW@townoffrisco.com to Frisco Town Clerk, Deborah Wohlmuth, by noon on March 10. Three citizen questions will be asked based on whether those questions have not already been asked and if they reflect a topic pattern seen in a number of other citizen question submissions.

Comfortable on-stage seating will be provided for the candidates and moderator by Frisco’s iFurnish. For community members who are unable to attend the forum, a livestream of the event will be available at the Town of Frisco Government’s YouTube channel.  Also, a video recording will be available on March 11 through Summit County Television’s (SCTV) website, summitnews.com, and on the SCTV broadcast channel.

During the April 5, 2022 regular election, Frisco voters will be electing three Council members. The Town Council candidates who receive the three highest vote counts will be elected to four-year terms. Town elections are non-partisan.
